Now you too can get pro-sounding audio
How you can get pro-sounding audio using your phone and some easy tricks that can take your audio from flat to fantastic. This series is my personal tips I’ve learnt and how I get great audio without the pro budget
Join us in this audio adventure to turn your content into pro-sounding audio for your video or podcast
In this series, I show you how I use the most basic tools, like a broken cell phone and cheap lav mic to create sound that is near pro level.
One of the biggest advantages you can bring to your content is better sound. Have you ever tuned into a PodCast or a Video by someone you respect and get hit with bad audio? Not great is it.
I’ve spent years making video and voice content and have had my share of terrible videos because of bad audio.
The Problem most of us face
Those of us who have taken the bold step of creating video or audio content will have come across the challenge of playing back the content and wondering just how the hell do others get such “movie” sounding audio.
In this session, I share with you just the different challenges I’ve faced on the methods that I use to overcome BAD audio, using nothing more than my cell phone.
So how do you get the audio from your phone to the Video?
CapCut FREE editing tool
My first attempt at editing a video was back in early 2000’s (I didn’t touch it again for more than 10 years) was a wild video that had all sorts of explosions and weird effects. There was no story.
Fortunately, I’ve learnt that you can shape the story you want to tell using editing tools. Most of the modern tools make the work easy.
In this session, I show you how I use CapCut to edit and merge the sound from my cell phone to the video. We are going to cover two methods
- Easy click and run
- Edit by Soundwave (harder but useful to know)
If you’d like to get a copy of CapCut you can visit their website here https://www.capcut.com/
They have a host of tools that you can use in your creative process. I use the Windows Desktop Video editor tool in this example.
Was my advice helpful enough?
This is just a small way to say thanks. I love helping and creating content like this is a way for me to help as many people as possible. Every now and again it’s nice to know that it helped someone enough that they would find me worthy of a cup of coffee. Hopefully, it won’t break your bank but it will let me know that you found my advice helpful enough that you feel I deserve a small little something.
