Helping Small Business Owners Drive Revenue
while Staying True to Their Values
Sales is a skill that
In this FREE guided training, I share with you the Sales System I’ve used to build my business from a one-person freelancer to a 30-person staffed business.
Building on the 4 pillars I found to be most important to sell authentically and how to Close More Deals without Being Pushy
Did you know that when you invest in sales you are investing in your customers as well as your future dreams?
Just how serious are you about achieving those dreams then?
What is sales and selling?
If you’re going to get better at sales then understanding just what it is, becomes very important. I wish I could tell you the definition is as simple as what common dictionaries make us believe, but then again, if it were that simple then sales would not FEEL hard.
Sales, as I teach it, is how you approach your customers.
- Do you pick up the phone and call them?
- Do you get them to come to you?
Understanding which method to use and when will increase your opportunity of success.
Offers can be confused with promotions
However, an offer is how you package your product. Not just physical packaging but the added value services that you give to your customer to help remove friction.
Example, if you are selling bottled water, don’t just sell the water, sell a weekly top-up package that includes delivery based on the number of people in your customers office.
Offers is everything you do to make it easier for your customer to make a decision.
The more decisions and options you give your customer, the more likely they will need to “think about it” and “get back to you”, which are both nice ways customers use to say NO.
Know your Customer
At the center of all that you do, you need to put your customer. If you don’t know who your customer is and what problem or pleasure you provide for them, you will always be frusrtated with inconsistent results.
It doesn’t help to know your customers hair colour or what school they attended if those things have nothing to do with your product, and more importantly, the problem that you help solve.
Your customer is also the hero of this story
So you have to find a way to make sure they are the main character in the story of the sale and that you actually provide something of value that they can see a better future with
Defining your customer is covered over 4 main sections
- How, and
Content is the messages you share that will attract your ideal customer to you and your business. The content, informed by knowing who you customer is and what problem you solve for them, is a key component to making sales predicatable.
In defining your customer, the “WHAT” is your content
Your “what” is going to be the communication,
what you’re going to say
what are you expecting your customers to say back
So, how can a Sales System help you grow your business?
Getting more clients can feel like travelling to another dimension. Unknown and scary. I know I felt that way when I first started growing my business more than 15 years ago. Now I’ve learnt that if you have the right systems in place, and understand your product and customer, sales is no scarier then buying milk at your local store.
Having a Sales System will help you get unstuck, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t and can’t feel stuck. That’s why I created a series of content for you to go through to get a different, more local understanding of sales for new and small businesses.
So, if you haven’t downloaded it yet, then fill out your detail in the form and get my sales system outline.
I’ll send you guided training videos that walk you through each pillar as well as some personal experiences that helped me overcome the idea that sales is hard and sleazy.
In April I’ll be opening a limited amount private coaching spots. If you want to take advantage of these then make sure you’ve added your details above to get my sales system and I’ll reach out to you very soon.
